Previously used as a temporary holiday site for camping and caravan clubs, we have now redeveloped a small area of the site to provide better amenities for our customers.
With more demand for electric power, hard standing pitches and tracks, we felt the time had come to provide these facilities for our customers. We will continue to hold rallies but now offer more permanent services and will only close for a short period after Christmas.
We offer 20 hard standing pitches with electric, water and grey water facilities, located just around the corner from the site is a Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s (both having cafe facilities) and an Aldi supermarket. Not to mention we are perfectly situated for those looking to visit Kendal and The Lake District.
About our farm.
We (Mark, Rachel and our four children Hannah, James, Katie and Ben) live on the small family run beef and sheep farm situated on the outskirts of Kendal.
Lambing time for the first batch of ewes starts in the middle of January, followed by the second in the middle of March. As lambing time finishes then it is time for our cows to start calving and with Summer, hopefully on the horizon, silaging and haymaking.
We are all involved in helping on the farm, particularly at busy times such as lambing time. The majority of our produce is sold to a local butcher whose ethos is to buy from local producers to ensure the traceability from farm to fork.
